Yesterday evening we had a visitor in our back yard while we were entertaining guests. A Tawny Frogmouth came and landed in the nearest tree, making it bird #215 for the year.
I am an ecologist working on threatened species policy and legislation. I spend as much of my spare time getting into nature as possible, and taking photographs of cool things.
